After comparing flights to
Greyhound & Amtrak, flying was the most time efficient and cost
effective. The Greyhound would have been $393 round trip, but I would have
had to pay for lodging on my return for one night, so it ended up being more
expensive.
The flight from LAX to Chiang Mai included
baggage and 1 meal.
Both flight costs are roundtrip,
so in the return portion only the flight itinerary will be included. Total $1,053.70 |

was reasonably priced and the most flexible mode of transportation time wise,
so it allowed for a full day of activities before departure.
